ABOUT THE SUPPORTED PROJECTS

All the  revenue raised through the sale of products on ZARMarketplace, as well as through the advertisements that appear of ZARMarketplace, engaged in and that support our clients in Zimbabwe. AS an HIV/AIDS organization with a focus on Zimbabwe, our projects aim to:

• Provide free medical care or access to such care, to Zimbabweans living with HIV/AIDS
• Provide living support to the families and children of individuals infected with HIV/AIDS
• Provide educational support to children infected with HIV/AIDS or directly affected by HIV/AIDS
• Provide a platform for open discussion of HIV/AIDS topics and issues pertinent to Zimbabweans
• Provide access to pertinent and accurate information on HIV/AIDS as it relates to Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans

ZARMarketplace is a fund-raising initiative co-administered by HAZ and FOPD, intended to raise much needed revenue to support projects that our two organizations have partnered to work on together.  Both our organizations are small, and we have minimal resources, but a great passion for what we do.  We make every effort to be transparent in our operations, and in the administration of donations and our overall funding.  To this end, reports of our projects are publicly available through the HAZ web site, as well as through the GuideStar.org web site.  Both HAZ and FOPD also report to the USA Government’s branch of the Internal Revenue Services, as 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity organizations.  Currently, none of our volunteers or staff receive are receiving any financial compensation for their work on the named projects.  So all the revenue currently goes to cover direct costs related to the projects.
