The following information constitutes our Vendor Terms & Conditions.

All products sold on ZARMarketplace benefit the collaborative charitable projects administered by HIV/AIDS|Zimbabwe Charity, Inc (HAZ) and Friends of Picardy Drive (FOPD) (henceforth referred to as HAZ-FOPD), in Zimbabwe. Depending on the category under which a product is sold, all or a portion of the sales proceeds are donated to HAZ-FOPD.  Therefore, the first step in selling on ZARMarketplace is for the vendor to decide whether they wish to retain part of the sales proceeds or they wish to donate all the sales proceeds towards the HAZ-FOPD projects.

EARLY BIRD VENDOR PROMOTION:

If you are interested in selling on ZARMarketplace as a vendor, we are giving up 100% of the sa;es proceeds to our early-bird  vendors who sign up to sell on ZARMarketplace before October 31st, 2010.  All beta-testing vendors will receive 100% proceeds from any and all sales made on ZARMarketplace before November 30th, 2010.  This is a no-risk way to try out ZARMarketplace as  grow your business, while also helping us  iron out any flaws and kinks in our new system, that we may have overlooked.

VENDOR CATEGORIES:

Gold Seal Products (100% benefit to HAZ-FOPD projects)

GOLD SEAL products are goods and services provided on ZARMarketplace,with 100% of the sales proceeds donated towards the benefit of the HAZ-FOPD projects in Zimbabwe. ZARMarketplace guarantees the quality, provision and customer satisfaction of all GOLD SEAL products.  In order to help HAZ-FOPD provide their guarantee on the quality of GOLD SEAL PRODUCTS, we require that Sellers intending to benefit HAZ-FOPD through this option ship the products to an Approved HAZ-FOPD WareHouse.

Private Sellers (10% benefit to HAZ-FOPD projects)

Our Private Seller products are goods and services sold on ZARMarketplace by private individuals from across the world, without an existing formal business presence, and wishing to maximize the marketing of their products using our website, while also supporting our projects in Zimbabwe.  From the sales proceeds of Private Seller products, a 10% commission goes to HAZ-FOPD to support our collaborative HIV projects in Zimbabwe.  We believe that a return of 90% of the sales proceeds, to our Private Sellers is a generous one, that allows upcoming entrepreneurs to grow both their client base and businesses, while supporting our efforts in a meaningful way.

Non-Profit Sellers (15% benefit to HAZ-FOPD projects)

Our None-Profit Seller products are goods and services sold on ZARMarketplace by non-governmental/non-profit organizations from across the world, wishing to maximize the marketing of their fund-raising products using our website, while also supporting our projects in Zimbabwe.  From the sales proceeds of Non-Profit Seller products, a 15% commission goes to HAZ-FOPD to support our collaborative HIV projects in Zimbabwe.  We believe that a return of 85% of the sales proceeds, to our Non-Profit partners is a generous one, that allows them to raise much needed funds through ZARMarketplace, while also supporting our projects in Zimbabwe.

Affiliate Sellers

Our Affiliate Seller products are goods and services offered for sale through the ZARMarketplace by pre-existing corporate for-profit business entities wishing to maximize the marketing of their products using our website, while also supporting our projects in Zimbabwe. The Affiliate Seller provides the products directly to you, the customer and the Affiliate Sellers are each responsible for the quality, provision and customer satisfaction of their products. A portion of the Affiliate Seller products sold through ZARMarketplace is donated towards our Zimbabwe projects, by prior written agreement with each seller.  Products offered by various Associate programs to which we are subscribed, such as the Amazon Associate program are also listed under the “Affiliate Sellers” category.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:

We will give competitive preference to products offered by our smaller direct partners over corporate associates such as Amazon, eBay or other major corporate associates we work with.  So if as a small business, individual vendor or non-profit seller, you offer a product that is the same as one featured by a corporate associate such as Amazon, we will remove links and references to the corporate associate product and feature only your product on our site.  This, we believe will offer greater visibility for your products, at least through our site, without direct competition from the established corporate associates or affiliates.

DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS TO CUSTOMERS:

We require proof of date of mailing by seller, and proof of date of delivery to buyer.   Please note:  proof of delivery is the single most frequent reason for delays in disbursements of sales on our website.  In order to keep the cost of services low, we require proof of shipping by the seller, and proof of delivery and receipt from the buyer before the online transaction is settled and final disbursement of any due sales proceeds is made.

PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

In accordance with our return policy, any item may be returned within 15 calendar days from the date of delivery confirmation to the customer-provided shipping address.  As part of your Vendor Terms & Conditions, you are required to read, understand, agree and comply with our detailed Product Return Policy.

DISBURSEMENT OF SALES PROCEEDS:

Once proof of delivery of a has been satisfied and after the 15-day customer product-return  period has ended, final disbursements of the transaction (including net sales proceeds, net shipping, and net proceeds will be calculated and disbursed to vendor payee identified in the Vendor Agreement form.
