Supported Projects

ABOUT THE SUPPORTED PROJECTS

We encourage you to read the reports we have generated over the years about our current and past projects in Zimbabwe. In the spirit of accountability and transparency, we make these reports publicly available through our web sites, and also through GuideStar.org.

CLINICAL SERVICES PROGRAM

The Clinical Services Program aims to support universal access to quality and life-saving medical services and treatment, for Zimbabweans living with HIV/AIDS.

MASIYE CAMP

The Salvation Army Masiye Camp is a Christian development organization whose mission is to facilitate and provide, through partnerships, quality psychosocial support to orphans and vulnerable children and youth in sub-Saharan Africa.

CHITUNGWIZA ORPHANS & VULNERABLE CHILDREN

The mission of the COVCP project is to offer sustainable support to The Chitungwiza Unit K Baptis Church, in their efforts to restore childhood to the orphans and vulnerable children of the Chitungwiza Unit K community, who have been affected by HIV/AIDS.

ILANGA SELF EMPOWERMENT NETWORK

ISEN seeks to empower single HIV-positive mothers as a way of strengthening and revitalizing local safety nets that have been unraveled by HIV/AIDS, and to enable families to remain intact as a way of preventing children from becoming orphans due to HIV/AIDS.

HOME OF HOPE-ZIMBABWE

The Friends of Picardy Drive (FOPD) and HAZ collaborating in an effort to establish a case-management model for the care of the children taken in at the Home of Hope. The home takes in infants and children from the local community, orphaned or otherwise affected by HIV/AIDS. The home has been modeled after the largely successful Mother of Peace Orphanage in Mutoko, and offers lifelong support for the children taken in.
