Below is a list of our active projects. You will find that in addition to conducting exclusive projects, we do have a number of collaborative projects, something which we are increasingly appreciating as being essential for broader success in Zimbabwe's HIV/AIDS campaign.

AIDS MEDS:

Since 1999, we have been purchasing HIV/AIDS medicines, as well as accepting donations of usable, surplus HIV/AIDS medicines, for treating patients in Zimbabwe. Dr. Scott along with volunteer clinicians currently sees about 465 patients at clinics in Harare and Mutoko. Please visit our donations page, or contact us to donate towards the purchase of more HIV/AIDS medicines, or to donate any extra medicines you may have.

VITAMIN DRIVE:

Vitamins are an essential component of the clinical treatment of HIV/AIDS patients. We have received donations of vitamins and have also purchased additional vitamins which are all distributed along with the HIV/AIDS medications at the clinics in Mutoko and Harare, Zimbabwe. Please visit our donations page, or contact us to donate multi-vitamins, or to donate money towards the purchase of the vitamins.

HIV EDUCATION, PREVENTION AND SUPPORT:

We provide support for HIV education and prevention in Harare (at The Centre for AIDS Services and the GALZ Center) and in Mutoko (at Mother of Peace Orphanage).

THE CENTRE FOR AIDS SERVICES:

We provide on-site support for the AIDS clinic (visit their website by clicking here)

SISTER CITY PARTNERSHIP:

We provide support for Alameda County Public Health Dept "Sister City" partnership with Mashonaland East Province Ministry of Health.

SPONSOR-A-CHILD:

We support orphan healthcare and the Chinzanga Primary School in Mutoko attended by children from the Mother of Peace orphanage (www.SponsorAChildZimbabwe.org).

SHIPPING CONTAINER:

Our partnership with the Kapnek Trust (www.JFKapnekTrust.org) has made available to us a shipping container for transporting donations to Mutoko District Hospital, Chinzanga Primary School (Mutoko) and Mother of Peace Orphanage, and Home of Hope (Nyanga).

SOLAR OVEN PROJECT:

For Mother of Peace's bakery to provide alternative energy in light of intermittent electricity outages (partnership with Rotary-Arlington/Illinois and Rotary-Highlands/Harare).

MOTHER OF PEACE ORPHANAGE:

Large children's homes complex caring for 130 orphaned children in rural northeast Mutoko, Zimbabwe (www.MotherofPeace.NET).

HOME OF HOPE - ZIMBABWE:

A small new children's home campus in beautiful Nyanga inspired by (and operated by) sisters of the Mutare Diocese of the Catholic Church who trained at Mother of Peace for nearly 5 years. This great new campus now has it's first 2 family style homes operating and now has it's first 5 children. They need everything and we're here to help get them going!!
