Can I post a classified Ad on ZARMarketplace?

Yes, now you can.  We have recently added the Classifieds Ads page to allow individuals and other entities to post ads on ZARMarketplace, in a less stringent format than we require for the posting of products that are sold through the rest of the ZARMarketplace site.  This new addition to ZARMarketplace adds another dimension of the buying and selling experience on ZARMarketplace, while still helping to save lives in Zimbabwe.

Is it free to advertise on the ZARMarketplace Classifieds page?

No.  ZARMarketplace is a fundraising initiative for the HIV/AIDS projects administered by HIV/AIDS|ZIMBABWE CHARITY INC (HAZ) and the FRIENDS OF PICARDY DRIVE (FOPD) in Zimbabwe.  Thus all the products and services accessible through ZARMarketplace are intended to generate funding for the projects in one way or another.  So every listing on the ZARMarketplace Classifieds page helps support our projects and efforts in Zimbabwe.

Is it safe to buy items listed on the ZARMarketplace Classifieds?

Although we require all advertisers listing products and services on the ZARMarketplace Classifieds page to register with ZARMarketplace, we have no control over the transactions that occur between the advertisers and potential buyers, or respondents to posted ads.  The nature of the Classifieds Ads service is such that beyond screening advertisers via the registration process, we cannot control what happens in the physical world in your interactions with the advertiser.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have about any particular advertiser, before initiating any contact with the advertiser.  If we have any pertinent knowledge that may help address your questions or concerns, we will be glad to share that information with you.
